Her career commenced (far too long ago!!) in Retail, then Administrative Management, moving to Recruitment and Human Resources with Corporate, Commercial and Industrial clients. Karen then managed Internal and External Fraud teams. She has worked with cutting edge Program privatisation and performance improvement. Her constantly people-focused work demonstrates capacity to think creatively but with strategic insight and thus be a trigger for entrepreneurial growth within companies, large and small. She is a very practical person however, and is dedicated to seeing ideas “go somewhere”, which means her clients can expect some “devils advocate” thinking to ensue as well as “blue sky” concepts. Karen is a creative thinker and innovator. Her personality and thinking style, IQ, EQ (Emotional Intelligence Quotient) are expansive, “big picture”’ and analytically global. Her business management outcomes have further proven a talent for innovation and opportunity capture. She shares her expertise in management consulting and training facilitation using practical applications of lateral thinking. With 20+ years managing teams, her strategic input creates dynamic and challenging programs, focused on people improvement. She engenders new vision for leaders through logical design and responsive facilitation Karen creates alternative and effective new consulting, education and training solutions but also has a commitment to cost-control for her clients. Karen is a member of the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI), the Australian Businesswomen’s Network, and is a judge for Business Excellence Awards for a range of Councils and Chambers of Commerce. |
