Matthew Doig

Matthew is a Human Potential Development Consultant and the Managing Director of his own business. His business motto, “Living, Learning and Growing” sums up his holistic approach to training and development activities. He joins in some strategic associations with Karen Dempster & the Creating Change team bringing to projects his sound expertise and outstanding energy.

Matthew has over 13 years experience developing people within large and small organisations. He has a particular interest in the professional development of staff working to improve their practical interpersonal, customer service, staff training and management skills.

Matthew works with a number of different clients within the retail, hospitality, manufacturing and primary industry sectors. This work includes the development and delivery of training programs, training needs analysis, workplace assessment and the provision of consultancy services to government and business. Matthew is also extensively involved in the delivery of Workplace Trainer and Assessor programs and various specially tailored short courses based around this.

Prior to his consulting activities, Matthew worked within the Department of Defence managing major purchasing projects and providing training support to a range of Defence personnel. Matthew also has experience working within the retail/hospitality industry. This involved work at a host farm and within the liquor retailing area. Matthew has a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Science from the University of Melbourne and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40104-OC). He is a professional member of The Australian Human Resources Institute and The Australian Institute of International Affairs.
